Washington Semester 2005
Located in Old Town Alexandria, the Washington Semester is an eleven-week summer program that provides students the opportunity to acquire professional experience in a governmental agency or other relevant enterprise in the private or nonprofit sector. Washington Semester Fellows attend seminars that enable them to understand their internship from a range of analytical perspectives. While the program is open to all Virginia Tech students, regardless of major, who have earned at least 60 credits and are in good academic standing, it is of special relevance for students with career interests in politics, public management, public policy, law, or the nonprofit or for-profit sectors.
