Degree Programs The following degree programs are available at the Northern Virginia campus at 1021 Prince Street, Alexandria, Virginia. The MPA is also available at Virginia Tech's Richmond Center. Masters DegreesMaster of Public and International AffairsMaster of Public Administration - Alexandria Master of Public Administration - Richmond Master of Urban and Regional Planning Ph.D. DegreesPh.D. - Public Administration and Public AffairsPh.D. - Environmental Design and Planning (Planning Stream) Ph.D. - Environmental Design and Planning (Public and International Affairs Stream) Although each degree provides a particular conceptual and professional orientation, the degrees are complementary. Consequently, students may wish to choose from any of the departments, giving them a wider array of courses than they would have otherwise. Also, faculties from the different departments within the School are able and willing to serve on student thesis and dissertation committees regardless of degree affiliation. The School also serves as a bridge between campuses on matters of research and public service. Faculty from any campus are always interested in drawing on the expertise of graduate students at any location for projects. Faculties in the School believe that as professionals you have much to offer to your student colleagues and to us.
